The Project Brief of Setting up "Zimbabwe Hebei Export
　　　　　　　　　　　　ndustrial Park Zone" in Zimbabwe

　　Mr. Stephen Margolis, the Board Chairman of Margolis Holdings P/L Zimbabwe visited Shijiazhuang City Hebei Province from Sep.27 to 30, 2004 under the invitation of the Foreign Affair Office, Hebei Provincial People's Government. During this period, the Cooperative Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Hebei Overseas Chinese Economics & Trade Corporation and Margolis Holdings P/L through friendly negotiations. H.E.Christopher H. Mutsvangwa, ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe attended the signature ceremony.
　　In the December of 2004, Mr. Liu Xiaozheng who is the managing director of Gold Driven Investment (PVT) LTD visited the Hebei Province. After the investigation to Ningjin country and Xinji city, Hebei Overseas Chinese Economics & Trade Corporation and Gold Driven Investment (PVT) LTD made an agreement to set up mushroom planted base, processing factory, wire and cable factory etc. in Zimbabwe.
　　With the development of the projects, and a great deal of investigation to Handan, Xingtai, Shijiazhuang, Baoding and Chengde city etc, we find that Hebei province has many industries which are suited to the market requirement of Zimbabwe and the whole South Africa. So a lot of projects are being added, now we face a problem that is investment environment. For facilitating management, improving efficiency, decreasing waste of repeat investment, and insisting on the principal of Complementary advantages, we wish to set up Zimbabwe Hebei Export Industrial Park Zone, which will use the condition and the advantage of police of the export processing zone in Zimbabwe. In doing that, we can not only put entire projects into this zone, but also lay the good foundation for more Hebei investment projects entering into the park in the future. In the meanwhile, the project which is put in the Zimbabwe Hebei Export Industrial Park Zone will build a good investment and trading plat for Hebei enterprises in Zimbabwe and South Africa market. The implementation of all Industrial Park can offer employment chance to 80-100 thousand people. Meanwhile it can bring the development of plant production and raising production in Zimbabwe, and the ability of export and foreign exchange earning.
　　According to the previous careful research to the market of South Africa, we have selected some projects to enter the Export Industrial Park Zone through negotiation with our partners in Zimbabwe. The first batch projects in the Export Industrial Park Zone are as follows:
　1.Cooperative project of setting up Soybean Processing Factory in Zimbabwe
　　The soybean processing factory item is divided into six stages to fulfill:
　　1)The Soybean Oil Processing Factory
　　The scale of the soybean oil processing factory handles 100-200 ton soybean per day by Pressing technology. Meanwhile the bean cakes from the soybean oil processing factory are handled.
　　2)Feed Processing Factory
　　Setting up the feed processing factory will produce the feed for chicken, cattle, cow, pig, fish etc. which will use the soybean cake (the leftover of the soybean oil processing factory) as the main raw material, add maize and other auxiliary materials.(the main purpose of the factory is to promote the add value of the soybean cake).
　　3)Chicken Raising Factory
　　Setting up a big modern chicken raising factory, which mainly offers the chicken (be used breed), meat chicken and eggs taking advantage of the feed processing factory, (because the feeding chicken industry is very developed in Hebei, we can take advantage of the technology and management fully.)
　　4)Slaughter Factory
　　Setting up a large slaughter Factory to handle chicken, pigs, cattle, cows etc. (It can process not only the meat chicken from us, but also pigs, cattle and cows from other factories.) It also can further process original material of butter, ox hide and ox hair etc, thereby, it can be used sufficiently
　　5)Cold Storage Plant
　　Setting up a large clod storage plant to store meat chicken、eggs、pork、beef etc.(All the food from Slaughter Factory store in the cold storage plant, in the meantime, the other cold storage shop can be rent to outside.).
　　6)Logistics Center
　　Set up a Food Logistics Center, mainly for Soya-bean oil, meat chicken, eggs , pork、beef etc.(The food from the slaughter factory and the cold storage plant is transferred to all over the places through the logistics center)
　2.Cooperative project of setting up Mushroom Processing Factory in Zimbabwe
　This project mainly produces all kinds of edible fungus used the new production technology today, whose material is local cotton seed shell, wheat bran, corncob, bagasse and so on. It not only offers much employment opportunity but also improves export exchange capability of Zimbabwe.
　3.Cooperative project of setting up Agricultural Machinery Manufacture and Research Center in Zimbabwe
　This project mainly offers agricultural equipments which are suited to local practical using. The main series are seeding series, harvest series, straw pole harvest series, and further processing series and so on. Meanwhile it can remake, repackage and repair original agricultural machine, and research and develop new-style agriculture machine etc.
　4.Cooperative project of setting up Paper Mill in Zimbabwe
　This project which adopts the advanced paper-technology ---APMP produces corrugated paper sheet whose main raw material is cotton pole, wheat pole, maize pole and so on.
　5.Cooperative project of setting up Carton Factory in Zimbabwe
　This project produces all kinds of packing-cardboard case whose main material is corrugated paper sheet paper from our industrial park.
　6.Cooperative project of setting up Wire and Cable Factory in Zimbabwe
　This project is to develop the lead-advantage of wire and cable in Hebei, and takes advantage of local source to develop South Africa market.
　7.Cooperative project of setting up Asbestos Product Factory in Zimbabwe
　This project adopts the advanced technology and combines local high-quality asbestos, produces new-style asbestos tile. The asbestos have special metallurgical products, high-strength and 25-year- service life.
　8.Cooperative project of setting up Cement Products Factory in Zimbabwe
　This project mainly produces products used in municipal engineering, public building, building site and so on.
　9.Cooperative project of setting up Soap Factory in Zimbabwe
　This project produce soap flakes and soap used local animal oil in order to settle for the market requirement in South America.
　10.Cooperative project of setting up Medical Absorbent Cotton Factory in Zimbabwe
　This project combined the advantage of teem with cotton in Zimbabwe produces medical cotton which alleviates the requirement to the product in South Africa.
　11.Cooperative project of setting up Brisk and Tile Factory in Zimbabwe
　This project is to coordinate the rejuvenation of real estate Zimbabwe, mainly to produce brisk and tile which are used in building site.
　12.Cooperative project of setting up Food Processing Factory in Zimbabwe
　This project is mainly to process meat-food, provision-food, and fruit etc.
　13.Cooperative project of setting up Wooden Products Processing Factory in Zimbabwe
　This project combined special and high-quality wood in Africa is to produce all kinds of doors and windows, floor board and so on, and furniture, daily-use articles and so on.
　14.Cooperative project of setting up Plastic Product Factory in Zimbabwe
　This project is mainly to produce agricultural plastic film, plastic bag, other plastic product and so on.
　15.Cooperative project of setting up Sewage Treatment Plant in Zimbabwe
　This project is mainly to assure that the sewage from Export Industrial Park Zone doesn't pollute the local water and environment, and guarantee the long development of Export Industrial Park and sustainable development.
