 The Cypress Buddhist Temple is one of the oldest temples in China. It was built at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty (196-220 year).To date it has 1700 years since then. It is the famous Buddhism place in China and called ＾ancient Buddhism rites place￣ in history. It is an important yard in China¨s Buddhism history. Tang Xuanzang had ever studied ＾become real theory￣ before he went to the ＾western paradise￣. The Emperor Qianlong had ever had a rest and had recited poems and inscription in the Cypress Buddhist Temple three times when he went to the south. Now the Qianlong poem tablet still exists here. In the temple there is the real tower in order to commemorate the honorific Buddhist monk. The real tower is an outstanding works in our ancient towers.
Today the Cypress Buddhist Temple is a national well-know Buddhism and tourist showplace. There are various temple  halls, high cypress to sky and many pilgrims like cloud. The ten thousand Buddha building which is being built is the largest temple in our country, and invested more than 30 million Yuan. Here, the life camp in summer and the deep meditation seven laws in winter have already possessed considerable scale and level. It has engendered an extensive and far-reaching influence in the whole country and some foreign countries and regions.
